Don Wright Faculty of Music
Music Internship Course 3190A/B/Y
Established in 2019, the Music 3190A/B/Y Internship course provides undergraduate students from Western’s Don Wright Faculty of Music an opportunity to engage in paid, work integrated learning for academic credit.
Time Commitment: Minimum 140 hours over an academic term
Length: 10 weeks to 4 months (0.5 credit)
Time of Year: Most opporutnities are concentrated in the Summer term (May - August)
Eligibility: Registration in a BMus or BMusA program or a BA Major or Specialization or Honours Specialization module within the Don Wright Faculty of Music; 2nd year or beyond; cumulative average of at least 70%
International Student Eligibility: No
Finding an Internship: Students are encouraged to independently research internship opportunities that align with their interests and desired career paths. Students who identify an internship that they would like to be considered for the Music Internship Course should be in touch with the Associate Dean well in advance of the internship start date to discuss eligibility.
