Project Based Learning
Project Based Learning facilitates knowledge formation and skill development through hands-on engagement with real-world challenges, issues, and initiatives identified by external partners within London and beyond. All projects include mutually beneficial outcomes for both students and partners, and reflection is facilitated to foster a deeper understanding of your values, needs, and career aspirations.
Project Based Learning at Western consists of both Community Engaged Learning and Industry Project opportunities.
Community Engaged Learning
You'll take your skills out of the classroom and into the community, collaborating with partners in the non-profit sector for curricular and/or co-curricular credit.
Industry Projects
You'll apply your skills to practical scenarios and hone core competencies in the classroom on projects coordinated with partners from small- to medium-sized enterprises.
