Co-Curricular Validators

Become a ValidatorGraphic recognizing Western's Co-Curricular Record.

Western's Co-Curricular Record (WCCR) recognizes meaningful student learning beyond the classroom. By adding your activity as a validator, you help shape high‑quality student experiences and gain a structured framework that supports the development, delivery, and assessment of impactful co‑curricular programs. Your participation as a validator also ensures these opportunities are visible and accessible to students exploring Western’s Experience Catalogue and Co-Curricular Directory.

  • Promotes your activity to current and prospective students through the Experience Catalogue and Co-Curricular Directory.
  • Supports the development of wellrounded, highachieving students.
  • Provides tools and standards to design and assess experiential learning outside the classroom.
  • Encourages student reflection on their transferable skills.
  • Helps identify programming gaps and enhance overall cocurricular offerings.
  • Strengthens the WCCR by contributing to a richer record of student involvement.

Submit a Co-Curricular Activity

Faculty and staff can submit new activities/positions for inclusion on the WCCR using Western’s official CoCurricular Record Position Request Form. This intake is managed by the Experiential Learning Coordinator, CoCurricular Programs (Careers & Experience).
